Preferred Skills: MS Excel, Typing, Good Communication skills, Strong knowledge in Accounting Concepts,Strong knowledge of Australian BAS and GST reporting requirements, Experience in any accounting software like Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks.
Job Description:
  • Maintain and reconcile client accounts, including accounts payable, receivable and general ledger transactions.
  • Prepare and manage regular financial reports for clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Australian accounting standards.
  • Process bank reconciliations, credit card statements, and payroll data.
  • Assist in the preparation of BAS, GST and other compliance reports for clients.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Accountant to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
  • Manage client queries regarding bookkeeping matters, providing guidance on financial records and compliance.
  • Ensure timely completion of all bookkeeping tasks and assist in end-of-month closing activities.
